About Us

We believe that behavioral change is the key to the future

Our story

“Welcome, dear supporters.

Let me tell you about our story and how we empower people in marginalized groups. It all started with a young woman named Anita Soina, who has always been passionate about creating a better world.

She came from the Maasai community, where she witnessed firsthand the impact of climate change on our environment and resources. She knew she had to act.”

about our story begins with Anita Soina

Our Inspiring Beginnings

The Soina Foundation journey begun by Anita teaching herself about climate issues and how they were affecting her community. She realized that the Maasai, who rely on livestock for their livelihoods, were being hit especially hard by droughts and other environmental challenges. She knew that she had to find a way to help. So she started advocating for climate action and environmental conservation.

This was the beginning!.

Advocacy

Today, the organization advocates for education, gender equality, WASH, and food security. For people in marginalized groups like ours to overcome many challenges to achieve their goals, empowering people through behavioral change was the key to making a difference.

Stepping Forward to Serve Humanity

Today, the Soina Foundation works tirelessly to promote behavioral change through education, advocacy, and awareness campaigns. The priority is provision of resources and support to grassroots community leaders and victims, helping them to tackle the challenges facing our communities, from education gaps and inequality to women’s rights, WASH, FGM, food insecurity, and climate change.
